About Dr. Barry Rose

Dr. Barry Rose is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon and chief of orthopedic surgery and surgical division head for the Alameda division of the Palo Alto Medical Foundation (PAMF), Sutter Health. He has been a surgeon for over three decades and is dedicated to seeing compassionate care as a central focus of healing. He was born and raised in Kansas City where he attended college, medical school, and did his internship/residency at the University of Kansas. He also completed a hand/upper extremity fellowship at the University of California/San Diego. Dr. Rose resides in the San Francisco Bay area with his wife Rose.
